You're saying that the current program currently net sends the local
computer? If so, use Msgbox (if you're using VBScript?).
But, about the messenger service, you may want to talk to the people who
decided to disable the service for the reason you state. Disabling the
service is NOT the way to prevent messenger spam. That messenger service
spam you're getting is actually doing you a favor and alerting you to the
fact that your computer is not behind a [good] firewall. If the net send
port is open (135?), then most likely lots of other ports are that you don't
want open... Put your computer(s) behind a firewall and re-enable the
messenger service.
