We have a new Windows 2003 AD and will be using new Windows XP clients.
All group policy settings work and are distributed to the clients.
The logon script area in group policy claims that it distributed but after
further investigation the clinets event log produces event id: 1000

Checked out MS knowledge base, and it appears as though this is a known
fault with gigabit ethernet on XP clinets...
With this being the case can you recommend another reliable way to setup
login scripts throughout the organisation...
I guess i trying to find out if kixtart scripting is reliable with XP, or
use batch files and place in netlogon folder...
Any info, or resolve to the event: 1000 issue would help.
PS: all latest nic drivers have been applied, and nic set to 100mb full
duplex, remove auto negotiate setting!!!
Cheers Ray
