Hello,
I have a file (file.log) on the C: drive that needs a
script to copy it to a mapped network drive. The file
records errors and may need to copied to the network drive
multiple times. When the application that file.log
records errors for crashes, and the user restarts it,
file.log overwrites itself and starts clean. When the
script copies file.log to the network, I need it to rename
file.log with a unique name each time so it's not
overwritten. How can I create a unique filename each time
my script copies the file to the network?
Thanks
