Re: How to create a site from sharepoint folder?

Hello,

My apologies of being impatient, but now already 2 days have passed waiting
some supporting words.

It would be pity to leave the forum with lessons shared by Cliff.

The question I have asked, shouldn't be anything too complicated to provide
basic directions.

I have done similar tasks several times during last 5 years with SBS 2003
but now just can't
recall details.

Best Regards,
Roland

Thanks for a suggestion, but I have to learn it myself and there is noone
around to ask.

I'll be honest, at this point I think it is time to call in a consultant.
SBS is a wonderful product, but it is still a server product and thus
requires professional TLC from time to time for setup and certain
reconfigurations. Based on your responses, I don't think you are ready
to be jumping into the IIS manager and make changes. Doing so without a
deep understanding of the system can break a lot more than it fixes, as
IIS also hosts various other services that SBS uses out of the box.

Call someone in, watch over their shoulder, ask questions, and learn.
That is your best approach at this point.
