Make sure his account is in the SBSUsers OU.  If it isn't, move it there.

Jack,

See if this works for you...

In Server Management | Standard Management | Users, click on the user
account, then click on Change User Permissions.  This should run through
the
user permissions setup using the Wizard (select the radio button for:
Replace any previous permissions...).

okay, I admit this is a problem caused by myself :-)

A year ago, the company hired a consultant working from his laptop
remotely. I was asked to create him an email account and gave him OWA
access, he did not have other permissions other than this. So I
created his user account manually under AD as opposed to using the
wizard. I removed him from all groups except "RWW users" so that he
could use OWA.

Now the company decided to make this person a full time employee and
he should get all necessary rights including using Terminal Server
thru RWW. So I added this person to all necessary groups, eg. "Domain
users", "Mobile users", etc. However, he kept being blocked from RWW..
After i typed in his login name and password and hit enter, the RWW
home page flashed a bit and re-appeared right away, so i could not
pass this page at all.

If i added this person to admin group, he could login RWW without a
problem. I re-ran CEICW, I restarted IIS Admin service, no joy.

Any one would shed me some light on this? It's a SBS2003 R2 Standard..

Thanks

Jack

Hi Merv, I tried but it did not fix the problem unfortunately :-(
Any other thoughts?
