Do you have any third party anti-malware software that might inadvertently
have a firewall component? I had a client that had installed the desktop
agent for Trend Micro on their SBS machine and it blocked a number of
important inbound ports due to it being a workstation component.
Typically in troubleshooting these types of issues, I disable all the
firewall functions to rule it out. From the start menu search, type
"firewall" and select "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" or just run
"WF.msc". Then find the firewall properties, and turn it off for each network
profile. (Domain, private and public).

Sorry for the obvious, but: If no computer on the LAN is being assigned
an IP by the DHCP, the first thing I would check is if the DHCP service is
running.?

HI,
currently i have installed SBS 2008 standard and is working fine. for the
last 2 days office computer getting problem to get ip address from DHCP
server. DHCP server enable and configure on SBS 2008 during setup.
problem getting worse today, all computer are not getting ip address from
DHCP server. if i add static IP address on machine it working fine
without any problem but if i select obtain ip address automatically its
keep searching.
i check event logs on server i found noting, not even warning.
when i check client computer for error it show following event error

we are running mix of different OS (Windows XP, Vista & Windows 7 (64) )
all computer have same problem and same error message. while there is no
any error message on server. i run Best practice Analyzer 2008 which shoe
there is no problem even I run Fix my Network wizard on SBS 2008 server
that also dont find any problem.
can you please help me to solve this problem. is there firewall block
connection ?
windows firewall enabled and i checked inbound and outbound rules,
nothing found suspecious.
