SharePoint not working on SBS2008

I am having a SharePoint problem. I have an extremely limited knowledge of
SharePoint and of SQL server 2005 so I think I may need a fairly complete
answer here.
On Monday afternoon my Data drive failed to the point that I needed to
replace the drive and restore from backup. a painful experience but
everything worked. After the recovery We found that SharePoint was not
working. It was returning a 404 message from companyweb. When I went to look
for the database files I found them located on the C drive, which was
unaffected by the drive failure they are in:
C:\Windows\SYSMSI\SSEE\MSSQL.2005\MSSQL\Data. These files were dated Sunday.
When I went into the SharePoint configuration it treated me like a new user
and was providing me steps to start using SharePoint. A friend of mine said
to backup the SharePoint database files, run the setup wizard then restore
the files.
My problem comes from the fact that I cannot backup the files. From the
Daily report on the server I get a message:
Windows SharePoint Services 3 3760 23/09/2009 4:32:15 AM 29
Event Details:
SQL Database ''ShareWebDb'' on SQL Server instance
''np:\\.\pipe\MSSQL$Microsoft##SSEE\sql\query'' not found. Additional error
information from SQL Server is included below. Cannot open database
"ShareWebDb" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user
''NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE''.
Also if I attempt to log into SQL Server to export the database files I get
error messages on both Windows authentication and the SA account. I wasn't
sure of the sa password but the error point to something aside from logging
in.
I tried to look at the properties of "ShareWebDb" and received the error box:
Cannot show requested dialog.
Additional information
Cannot show requested dialog. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Express.SqlMgmt)
An exceptoion occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.
Database ShareWebDb cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or
insufficient memory or disk space. See the SQL Server errorlog for details.
(Microsoft SQL Server, Error 945)

From the error log I find:
2009-09-22 21:56:12.70 spid18s SQL Server has encountered 1
occurrence(s) of cachestore flush for the 'Bound Trees' cachestore (part of
plan cache) due to some database maintenance or reconfigure operations.

2009-09-23 06:30:06.38 Logon Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 16.
2009-09-23 06:30:06.38 Logon Login failed for user 'NT
AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'. [CLIENT: <named pipe>]

My questions to you are:
1) How do I fix the SQL Permissions problem
2) and this is the most important, I do I fix SharePoint without losing my
data?
