Anyone running the beta yet?
I've installed the beta. No noticable performance improvement. The
release notes don't mention anything about performance improvements.
Dang, that sucks to hear.
Does anyone have machines that come up as "vulnerable"? I have *7*,
but they're supposedly all vulnerable to patches that were from 2004!
Surely one of the big Windows XP service packs filled in those
vulnerabilities. I even enabled the individual updates (if I could
find them) in WSUS but none of the machines seem to need them.
We use Kaseya for patch management and have found Trend Micro WFBS
will sometimes report vulnerabilities when the patch in question has
been superceded, e.g. it may say a patch for Internet Explorer 6 is
missing when the PC has Internet Explorer 7 installed.
I thought at one point I had called TM about this (a year ago) and
they stated they check vulnerabilities based on version numbers of
affected files. So I'd assume once the Version > "X" it should pass.
I don't know.
