Server Reboots after Logging Off RDP
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
I have two servers at different client sites and just ran into the following
problem:
I noticed that if patches had been installed on the server and are waiting
for a reboot (asking "restart now or restart later") and I logoff the server,
the server will reboot on it's own. This only happens when there are patches
waiting for a reboot. If I disconnect from the RDP session, nothing happens
as I would expect when logging off. There is no countdown to reboot, I am
only asked to restart now or later, so I know there is not a countdown
happening to initiiate this.
Any ideas why this is happening?
