database engine cannot open the files

Hi,

On my new sbs2003 server, we have shared database folder which locally users
access through MSaccess program(this is a linked database), but when I change
the server from sbs2000 to sbs2003, when the users try to access the database
- it prompts me the error " MS Jet Database engine cannot open the file (file
from the server), it is already opened exclusively by another user or you
need permssion to view its data" - what could went wrong, I am sure there is
no permission problem, If I connect the database locally - it works. But when
I put the linked data on server - the issue starts?

Pls can someone help me?

Thanks in advance.
