Final-Recipient: rfc822;user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Action: delayed
Status: 4.4.7

It's really strange. After restarting all exchange services and
removing one users outlook profile and recreating he now has email
again. However I did the same to the other user and his e-mail is
still not flowing.

Check the sync issues folder.

Should cached exchange be enabled for clients?

Yes, and Outlook 2003 or 2007 should be fully patched up to SP3 and 2,
respectively.
However, for testing, try disabling cached mode or using OWA. If you have
cached mode problems you can close outlook, rename or delete the OST file,
reopen OL and let it recreate the file.

Does it matter if
they are laptops or desktops?

Nope.

Hi All,

My customers server is SBS Standard (plain jane install) and has
been running successfully for 4 years. 6 months ago I upgraded the
Hard Drives and memory, that is the only thing that has ever needed
to be touched.
Early last week the server went down stating that their was a
critical failure in the array. (Raid 1)
I rebuilt the array successfully but the OS would still not load.
Without spending a lot of time on trying to figure out why I decided
just to replace the hard drives again. Installed 2 new drives and
reinstalled the operating system and restored a backup. Everything
went great and had the server backup in a few hours. The next day I
had a user that was not receiving mail and another user that was
constantly being prompted for her password. I managed to get them
both fixed by disabling offline cache and recreating the exchange
user respectively.
Now, 2 different users are not recieving mail! People sending them
messages are getting either a "delayed" or "undeliverable" message
back. There are 9 users in total and all are fine except these 2.

According to the server reports there are no indications of exchange
issues. I have restarted all of the services relating to exchange
and still no mail.
They do not use pop mail so the pop connector is not a concern. Does
anyone have any suggestions on next steps before I pull out
the few remaining hairs in my head?

Thanks in advance!

Tim
