Just some pop3 account somewhere on the net?

It's not likely the port 25 redirection as that's inbound from the WAN connection.

  Hi All,

I have a router/firewall (with wifi server) and an SBS 2003 server.
In between the router/firewall, I have a Tumbleweed Mail Gate AntiSpam
server .  The firewall/router (192.168.1.1) is configured so that Port
25 goes the Tumblweed Server (192.168.1.20).  This works fine, and
Tumbleweed Server successfully filters spam and then send the email to
  the SBS 2003 Server (192.168.1.2).

My problem is, I have a simple Macbook Pro connected on the router's
wifi service.  The client is using Entourage 2008, and can receive
emails, but cannot send emails out through their SMTP server.  They
can send out emails no problem from home, but not here in the office
with the setup described above.  Outgoing emails are most of the time
stalled, but sometimes a few go through.

Is it possible that the Port 25 redirection on the Router to
Tumbleweed is causing send email issues from the MacBook Pro?  Any
ideas would be greatly appreciated as I at a complete loss how to fix
  the issue.  Thank you.

Hi Cris,

Thank you for the reply! To confirm, it is a guest notebook with some
pop account in sweden. Client has no problem access email in his New
Jersey home, but when he takes the notebook into the New York office
and connects to the WIFI, he can receive email, but cannot send (or
rather, sometimes his emails are sent, but most of the time they are
jammed in his Outbox). Really struggling here to find a fix asap. Or
is it possible that because the internet line is a DSL line with an
upload speed of 768K, that maybe emails being sent are jammed by other
internet traffic (i.e. SBS outgoing emails, internet traffic, etc.)?

Any help would be seriously appreciated. Thanks.

Ringo
