For SBS2003 (you don't mention what version you are dealing with) you can
setup permissions for all folders and subfolders in the ezchange manager.
Goto the Admin groups->first AG-->folder->public folder view, right click
the public folder you want and choose all tasks->manage settings and follow
the wizard.

Very quick question!
I have been all over the Public Folder Management Console trying to
find the bit where I can stipulate folder permissions for users.
When I google the only relevant stuff I can find is from Microsoft
and it aint too pretty!
Am I actually supposed to configure public folder permissions per
file and folder using dumb command line instructions in the Exchange
Management Shell or is there a shiny applet I haven't found
somewhere just for this purpose?
Good answer and I tried that yesterday, It worked, on the parent
folder but all the folders contained within remain the same. I have a
bad feeling that I really will have to go through each and every file
and folder updating the permissions.
Thanks for your help :-)
