Interesting. The server I had the 45 minute thing on was a Windows Server 2003 member server. I'm just speculating, but it seemed like the number of files and complexity of the directory structure was what took all the time. About all I've done recently on the SBS was to change permissions on a user's redirected My Docs - maybe 50 folders and 1500 or so files - and that didn't take more than a few seconds. I'll pay more attention next time on the SBS.

Yes, I will check task manager next time, but I never see this problem on
standard windows server. It only happens to SBS.
