update.inf missing in SBS 2003

Hi everyone, I am trying to install either SP2 or SP1 on a SBS 2003. I keep
getting this error that the update.inf file is missing or corrupt. I searched
for and sure enough it is gone. I have been searching and cant find a
solution or any KB articles for this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
