I strongly suggest that you find a sbs friendly consultant in your area as it looks like there may be many "misconfigurations"
If you need help finding one, we can do that too.
So? If you know that this local computer account on the workstation does not match the one for the "network" where are you seeing the list of network user accounts to compare this too?

Chris, The User Accounts are not held on the client PC's themselves. If I go
to Control Panel/User accounts there is an Administrator, user (e.g Fred
Bloggs) and a guest account (disabled).
The user (Fred Bloggs) is just the local machine windows user and not the
same as the network logon userbame.
This server was built for us and configured by a local PC store who have
gone bust, so I can't contact them for help.
As I said before the Server works well, it hots a database as well as our
Accounts package which are linked.
The only solution I can see is to set up another client on XP Pro and change
the passwords there.
