Re: Configuring OWA on SBS 2003

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your post and the input from others.

Based on the current error message and symptoms, it seems the OWA virtual directories are still not configured properly. So I would like to double
confirm with you that have you completed the CEICW wizard (including Email Service configuration) without any error this time?

Have you tried the domain administrator account to access the OWA website? How about using "https" instead of "http"? Please have a try.

If the issue persists, please send a copy of the "Default Web Site" configuration from IIS console to me for further research.

Export VD configuration
=====================
1. Click Start->All Programs->Administrative Tools and then click Internet Information Servers (IIS) Manager.
2. Expand Websites, right click the Default Web Site, choose "All Tasks" and then click "Save Configuration to a File".
3. Input a file name like "SavedDefaultWebSite", choose Path and click OK.
4. Then find the file DefaultWebSite.xml and compress it. Then send it to me at v-robmen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Also, please paste out the latest error message like 401, 403 , 404 or HTTP 500 etc. when accessing the OWA website for further research.

Hope this helps. Also, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Thanks for your earlier feedback!

Best regards,
Robbin Meng(MSFT)
