Here are three of the application errors in event viewer. There are also
some Exchange errors, but we don't use exchange.
These errors are followed by a lot of warnings from NAV regarding not being
able to access certain directories.

This morning, I was working on the server (Server 2003 SBS SP2), and I
noticed I could not access a multitude of folders in multiple locations
on
the server. I was signed in as administrator, and tried signing in
under
my
own user name, which also has full administrator permissions. I can
however
access all of these folders using a 3rd party ftp client from my
workstation.
If I download the folder to my workstation, delete the directory from
the
server, and re-upload the folder, all is well again. The problem with
this
is, the folders I cannot access seem to be completely random. I have
also
noticed there are some files I am having the same issue with.
I tried accessing the security permissions, but it tells me I do not
have
permission to view the current permission settings for the folder, but
I
can
make changes. I tried adding administrator to have full control and it
tells
me I cannot save the chagnes, access is denied.
Can someone please help. I fear I will lose access to company critical
files.
Thanks,
-AJ
