Hi Sue,
Not sure about the quota error, but are you saying that you promoted a
mobile user to a full domain administrator? Was this intentional? (i.e.,
you wanted him to have full control of the SBS server?)

ok that did not help. I also changed a user from mobile to administrator,
and got the quota error, could a ms update have done this? since it was
working and nothing else has changed?

Hello everyone. Thought that was the last of me almost. Just was last
annoying problem, then I will leave all you in peace. When I go to add a
user using the wizard, it gives me an error saying:
The wizard could not successfully configure this user account. The
following could not be completed:
- A home folder could not be created for this user.
- Quota information could not be set.
Do you want to keep this user account?
As before SBS 2003 fully patched

User profiles go to a folder called User Profiles
It is shared as Profiles$
Sharing permissions:
Administrator all 3 Allow boxes checked
Domain Users all 3 Allow boxes checked
Everyone all 3 Allow boxes checked
Users all 3 Allow boxes checked
Security permissions:
Administrator Full Control
Administrators Full Control
Authenticated Users All allow except full control
Domain Admins Full Control
Domain Users: traverse folder, list folder, read attributes and extended
attributes, create folders, read permissions
Folder operators Full Control
System Full Control
Users data goes to a folder called
Users Shared Folders
It is shared as Users$
