I think you both are on to something. He can go to another user's
workstation and login to the application successfully. Here are the rest of
the answers to your questions:
Can any user logon to the workstation using domain credentials and open the
"application" sucssfully? YES
How was the workstation joined to the SBS domain? and what version of SBS
(2003 or 2008)? I JOINED IT THROUGH THE SETUP WIZARD WHEN I INSTALLED SBS. WE ARE USING SBS 2003
What version of Workstation OS (XP SP3/ Vista SP?)? XP SP3
And last (for now) what is the application or a little bit about what it
does? IT IS A FINACIAL APP.
(Initially I'd suspect a broken workstation trust with the SBS domain which
a remove and re-add should fix) THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD SOLUTION. HOW DO I ACCOMPLISH THIS?

I am using msft sbs as my network software. When my user selects the
icon to access the application on the server, a window pops up asking
him to login. He cannot access the app on the server. When I type in
the administrator login and pswd in this window, he can access the
application and he is fine.
now here is the strange part. If he logs into the network on another
computer on the network, he does not get this window!? I checked his
permissions and he has the correct permissions to the folder where
the server app. is located.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Details are a little sketchy here. When the user enters the credentials are
they just prompted again or is an error message given.
