Besides the Cris's suggestions, if the issue still occurs please try to rerun CEICW to reconfigure the DNS settings as well as the SMTP virtual server. After
that, please run Small Business Server 2003 Best Practices Analyzer tool to scan and detect the potential errors on SBS server.

However, if the issue persists, please let me know if the issue only occurs on that client computer or all client computers. Also, please let me know if the
log occurs when sending emails to specific domain or all external domains.
