The user doesn't use the server as a workstation, I needed the user to log on
so that i could edit the details on her profile folder as I had no
permissions to get into the profile. Her profile is a roaming profile, if it
is corrupt is there any chance of repairing it. As she is now struggling to
log on workstations now, well all but one.

logical flaw, it seems you have 'users' who expect to log on to your server,.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!
NO 'user' should be able to logon to your server. (that's a FULL STOP)
'users' log onto workstations and use their network logon to access
resources on the server.
IF however you mean that a user logs onto their workstation and it takes a
long time for them to get from logon to their desktop this usually indicates
problems with networking, often that some system other than SBS is set as
DNS server on the workstation(s).

This was an issue with logging onto the server not a PC and the problem
does
still persist.

Hi Mark:
Once the SBS was restarted have the symptoms persisted or have they
departed?

We tried logging on a user to the server who is an administrator but it
must
have taking approximately 3 hours to log on (this was yesterday) and
this
morning it was still logging off so it had to be restarted.
This one has left us confused, anybody have any ideas.
