Re: exchange with gmail

ok i will sit down with the boss and we will write out a plan. I will check
to see how long we need to archive the emails for litigation purproses, The
one manager wanted to change everything over when they were moving to the
new building which is within the month, so i will have everything in place.
Thankyou for all the info.

THAT's the one.

IT support is as much about education as fixing computers. Point out the
legal ramifications to the practice manager and if they suggest the chaos
continue type up a nice little disclaimer to cover your own a$$. It is
(IME) most likely that when you ask the practice manager to sign off on it
they will look at you and reassess their situation. Think of it like not
so much of a whack backside the head as holding your hand there and asking
them to move their head backward forcefully.

I'm shocked that you allow people to use gmail for a medical clinic!!
Did you read their privacy policy??!

Hello everyone this might be a werid question but i have never come
across this. I have a medical clinic that every month something
changes. Its crazy, anyways i had exchange setup so the domain email
would come to exchange and the users could use outlook 2002 and their
personal emails.
well now everyone is using gmail for work and personal. the boss
has given up on trying to keep everything under control. lol. anyways
due to the way medical practices are setup i need to retain email, and
with gmail everyone emptys their trash. is there anyway to setup
exchange to pull and copy their gmail so at least the email can be
archived and loceked in a safe place?
