Re: Remote Management Solution

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I'm assuming from the mention of Webex & Remote PC that the OP is wanting a
remote access solution (vs. a remote management solution). As Steve
mentioned, RWW is the obvious choice for domain PCs on the SBS network. For
roaming laptops, you can install LogMeIn Free for remote access.

If you are interested in a Remote Management solution, there are additional
options. If you are an internal system administrator looking to centralize
system management, you could look at Microsoft's System Center line (System
Center Essentials or System Center Operations Manager). If you are a VAR
looking to manage systems for multiple clients, you could look at Level
Platforms' Managed Workplace. There's also Kaseya and IT Control Suite that
can work for both an internal sysadmin and a VAR/MSP. It just depends on
what you want to accomplish.

Unless you have some special requirement why not use access via RWW?

Can you tell me your preferred method of remote management of
workstations? Something like Webex or something like RemotePC? And pros
and cons of solutions that you have tried... Thank you very much in
advance...
