Re: all employees logging into all workstations

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hello,

Thank you for posting here.

According to your description, I understand that:

You need the clients ability to log on to each computer in the SBS domain.

If I have misunderstood the problem, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Suggestions:
====================
Yes, you may check the following two settings:

1. Make sure the "Log on to" setting is set as "All computers" for all user
accounts in the domain.

2. Verify whether the "Users" group has been granted the "Log on locally"
permission on those computers. To check that:

a) In the command prompt, run "gpedit.msc" to open the local computer
policy.
b) Locate the User Rights Assignment settings under the Local Policy node.
c) Double click the "Log on locally" permission to check whether "Users"
group is listed. If not, try to manually add it.
d) Then run "Gpupdate /force" to refresh the policy and then check how it
works.

Hope it helps. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to let me know.

Best regards,
Miles Li
