I did put a new video card in. The chipset ( I am running one monitor off of)
and the new card (running the larger monitor off of) are ATI.

I had this issue recently and it was caused by the video card drivers..
I was using an nVidia card and the latest drivers on some cards cause this
problem, if you are using an nVidia card try using some older drivers.
You can find information on this by doing a web search for nvidia rdp issue.

I can no longer connect to a specific xpsp2 client computer in our office
network, either via internet or local lan. Other computers in the office
still work fine. I am able to log on, from internet, and get to the list
of
available computers, but when I choose the computer in question and click
connect, the page "refreshes" and nothing happens. No error, no remote
window
opens. I have checked the firewall settings and everything seems set up
the
way it was before. If I uncheck the allow users to connect remotelt
checkbox
in computer properties, I do get an "unable to connect to client" error.
The
only change to the system in question is the upgrade to dual monitors.
