Steve,
We have been installing SBS 2003 since its release. I don't have any
concerns, but my clients are always asking us, "I get this warning, should I
proceed? What should I do? I can’t connect remotely, and on and on." They
don’t read the message as a warning. They simply understand it to mean don’t
proceed. This is very annoying to them [and to us]. I wanted to check to
see if there is something we should have done differently.
So, I guess this is one of those annoying Microsoft messages that we ignore.
:)
Thanks again for your answer. It confirms that we have configured the SBS
correctly.

This is the standard warning when using a self signed cert. It was present.
in a slightly different form with IE6. What concern do you have about it?

I did a search on this forum, and was suprised not to find any information
about the following certificate warning when trying to access RWW in IE7.
There is a problem with this website's security certificate.
The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a
trusted certificate authority.
Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or
intercept any data you send to the server.

Any suggestion on how to resolve this issue without buying a certificate
from someone like Verisign, etc.
Thank you,
Ed Podowski
