Yes the 2008 server can be added to the windows 200 domain but make sure the
domain functional level is set to 2000 native mode and not mixed mode.
James.

I have a W2K domain controller and a W2K web server (public web server).
I intend to replace the web server with a windows 2008 server. Can the
Windows 2008 server be made a member server in the 2K domain ?
My next step would be to replace the 2K domain controller with SBS2008. I
would choose not to MIGRATE , just a clean install of SBS2008 and move the
clients across.
Thanks in advance for any advice
