Hi,

I've now experienced this problem twice on the same system and I'm
seriously running out of ideas. We are running a Dell Poweredge with
Windows SBS 2003 R2 (Service Pack 2).

I get a call from the customer saying "everything is down". On
inspection the server has shut itself off! Pressing the power button
obviously brings it back up. During an investigation we deduce the
following:

*There has been no interuptions in power supply and the UPS logs
indicate everything has been fine.
*There is no shutdown notice or unplanned shutdown message.

In the event logs we find the following:

Then nothing. Just a gap in the event log between the time when it
shuts down and starts back up. In the security audit log, strangely I
find the following at exactly the time immediately before shutdown:

Any assistance much appreciated.
