In conjunction with your next post, it would appear that this 08 install is/was meant to be used with a migration?
If so, you needed to use an answer file to configure your SBS 08, and it would seem that the answer file is not worded correctly.
Not sure if you have tried to put this box into production, but I recommend that you redo the installation. In the 08 world it is very quick, as you already know.
If you have any questions about the wording of the answer file, (or any other SBS 08 issues) you might try:
microsoft.connect.windows.server.sbs08.
Here's a link to the web version:

I am not sure if I have configured something wrong, but my Exchange
2007 Server (part of SBS2008) somewhere thinks that it's name is:
wolfeLaw.wolfeLaw.lddwolfe.local
So when I try to setup Outlook 2007 to use the autodiscover feature, I
get the message that:
user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx cannot be found. So it won't
login because it's supposed to be user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Any ideas what I am doing wrong. Thanks inadvance for your help.
P.S. I also find this same thing happening somewhere else, but I can't
remember where.
Jase
