i'm well aware of the fsmo roles but for my Understanding i tought it
could support having a a secound DC
RUSS thanks for the link but after i incounter the promblem i already
read all the restriction of WINDOWS SMALL BUSINESS SERVER 2003
i just dont know if to use the Small Business Server 2003 R2 Transition
Pack or installed windows server 2003 on the secound SERVER
sepecial thanks to Merv and Charlie Russel
i think im going ahead and buying windows server 2003
becouse the transition pack is way to expensive if im still going to
get
some limitation thanks MERV you been very helpfull
i only need to replicate my AD on my secound DC , just in case my
primary
DC falls , i will only need to change the ip. untill i fix the
problem
so if i use windows server 2003 on the secound DC i will have no
problem
having a secound dfs server installed for faultolarence porpeses
on the secound DC is replicating my DFS server and its lan routing with
a vpn server
now that you tell me that two dhcp can't exist on the same network, if
sbs is the root domain
