You can do the setup in the office for the core install
It's always better to do the To Do List and any other customization in the client's office
If you are going to move the domain, are you going to create an MX record to point to Exchange server and have mail for the domain come in there?
If you move the domain, most likely the OLD MX record goes away, so you'll need an MX record pointing somewhere
Exchange is the way to go.

This weekend I will be deploying a new SBS 2003 R2 box to my new customer.
Currently the customer uses SBS 2000 and we are replacing the box without any
migration other than a few misc. files such as quickbooks etc.
Sorry but my questions are plety...
Can I complete the setup in my office including the To Do List?
What do I need to change once I get on site if I completed the To Do List
offsite?
They currently do not use exchange so their mail comes in via POP. I plan
on moving their domain name so that we have better control over the records.
If I move the domain will their existing POP mail stop? What steps should I
take to ensure a smooth, seemless transition??
Thanks for any advice!
