Re: Remote Web Workplace Will not Allow Users to Logon

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

You should not have to use the Domain name to login through RWW. What do you mean you are able to connect to the Client PC's but not able to login? Can you login as Domain Administrator? Can you login to the server as Domain Administrator thru RWW? What error do you get and when? Are you connecting from Vista or XP WS and what SP? What OS is the WS on the NW?

Was there any progress on this thread?

I am having the identical problem of being able to connect to the client
PC's through Remote Web Workplace, but not being able to log in to the PC's
with the correct credentials. I recieve the "Username or Password is
incorrect" error.

I have also tried the truncated domain name on login and so forth. Our
domain name is over 15 characters long. Unfortunatly this is pretty much the
only thread I have found online that describes the exact same problem we are
expieriancing.

I have looked at Microsoft KB 892078, but this describes a slightly
different issue involving a password that is waiting to be reset. These
users and passwords have are not waiting to be reset.

Any thoughts?

I forgot to mention to be sure that ports 443 and 4125 are port forwarded to
the server and IF using ISA that the rules are enabled
