Since you have migrated to standard server 2008 you would be better served posting in a Standard server NG. This NG is specialized for SBS.

Hi
We are stuck migrating our SBS 2003 domain to Server 2008. We have two
new servers, both promoted to domain controllers in the new domain,
both with AD-integrated DNS installed and working, both set as global
catalogue servers, FSMO roles transferred on to one of the new DCs.
We got as far as trying to install Exchange 2007 on to one of the new
boxes, when we realised that we had AD issues to deal with first.
We disconnected the SBS box from the network and rebooted our new DCs.
Domain logons currently do not appear to be working, and dcdiag /
test:dns complains about a missing A record and a missing AAAA record
related to gc in _msdcs.companyname.local
dcdiag output (srv-sql is the second new DC, but is currently switched
off)
