Was this a clean install, or a migration?
If a clean install, did you move users to a different OU after the install?

Thanks for your response. I didn't know teh SBS 08 practice analyzer. I did download it today and it found a lot of issues.
Some of them have to do with the ou's. In Our AD there is no MyBusiness OU, we have another name for it. Could this be
the problem?

Hi all

We set up a SBS 2008 Premium. The most things are working, but we can't add users and groups with the SBS Console. Manually it works perfectly.

When I try to add a security group, the assisstant starts and I can enter Name and Type of group. Then the assisstan try to add the group but comes with an error "Verzeichnisobjekt nicht gefunden" or in english like this "can't find directory object".

When I try to add a user the assisstant says "Can not create the account, Please check that the service 'Active Directory Dömänendienste' is started."

Do you have any idea?
