In article <eUxrt#wUJHA.384@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>,
les.connor@xxxxxxxxxxxx says...
I've had my backup running for 30 days now; 4 backups daily. 120 backups.
140 GB of disk space used for backups, total. The USB disk switching seems
to be going fine; SBS backup "owns" those disks and knows what to do with
them.
The SBS has about 50 GB of data; if 120 full backups in 30 days were even
possible with tape .. you do the math based on your tape capacity and cost.
If each backup is not stored in a SAFE (physical) then you don't meet
SOX compliance, and while most customers are not part of SOX, it does
tend to put your eggs in one basket by having 128 backups on a single
media.
