Thanks, but that pretty much just says "The basic, bare minimum, GoDaddy cert
will work". I'm afraid that I may quickly outgrow the basic cert.
capabilities.

If I'm taking full advantage of the default SBS2008 install, will I only
have a single domain? Or, will there be other sub-domains needed for the
various connectivity options (remote workplace, outlook web access, windows
mobile integration, SSL VPN, RDP etc...)?

Is it easy to "upgrade" to a more full featured cert if I get to that point?
One w/ multiple or unlimited subdomains?

Thanks.

Hello,

GoDaddy has multiple certificates to choose from, but I'm unsure what's the
best fit for me... For a small, single person consulting business, what would
you choose?

GoDaddy has 3 levels, Standard SSL, Deluxe SSL, and Premium SSL. They also
have Single, Multiple, and unlimited subdomain options.

I'm a newbie to the whole SSL certificate world, everything I've done before
has been for internal use only and I don't really know which one would be
best to start off with.

When I go to install SBS2008 I want to make the right choices right off the
bat. Any help making this choice would be appreciated. I plan on using
GoDaddy to host my domain too.

Thanks.
What's the best cert for SBS 2008? - THE OFFICIAL BLOG OF THE SBS "DIVA":

The single cert covers OWA, RWW, Mobile, etc. All connectivity goes
through http://remote.domain.com

Yes you can upgrade, Just buy the bigger cert, rerun the trusted root
cert wizard and install the new one.

One last question (hopefully =)...

GoDaddy sent me two files, my Remote.Domain.net certificate file, and a
gd_iis_intermediates certificate file. Is there an interface/wizard in
SBS2008 I can run to import this intermediate certificate file, or do I need
to add it to IIS manually?

Thanks again for your help, you gave me the confidence to jump right in!

=)
