Windows Update notifications (yellow shield in systray)

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Our small company decided that they don't wish that users be notified
about available updates but all of the computers should be updated on
monthly basis. So, initially we installed WSUS and set it for manual
sync. Security Centre was disabled by means of GPO an all of the
computers. Then once a month I sync it and connect to all of the
workstations. Security Centre has to be enabled again and I need to
wait for the yellow shield to appear. It would be great if only the
administrators group was notified about the updates so the users
wouldn't be bothered with the yellow shield which apparently bothers
them heavily. This way WSUS could be syncing more often and I could
apply the updates whenever needed. Does anyone know of any GPO setting
to achieve this goal?
We running SBS 2003 if that's of any help.
