My c:\wsus\mssql$wsus\data\susdb.mdf is 3.39GB in size (on my SBS2003
SP2 box). Is that normal? Can I move it to my D: drive?
Hopefully you'll see my other post, but yes, search for the wsusutil.exe
util that is on the Server, and use that to move the content. (I
wouldn't worry about the database, it's very small by comparison).
When I see a database or logs or anythng wsus related that big I clean
it up. All of mine are relatively small. Les has posted some info on
tools you can schedule to run regularly but I just run the gui to
prune old stuff.

Check your SBS with the SBS Best Practices Analyzerhttp://blogs.technet..com/sbs/archive/tags/BPA/default.aspx
I hate to ask such a stupid question but which gui and how do I launch
it?
The WSUS 3 one presumably :) ...
Start, ADministrative Tools, Microsoft Windows Server Update Services
3.0 SP1
Go down to OPtions, and you'll see a clean up option.
I also run a WSUS database cleanup SQL script after running it which
optimises the indexes.
