Re: explorer.exe stopped working

If it is *probable* that you have a virus then flatten the server and reinstall. Then install applications INCLUDING AN AV PACKAGE. Then you can start working on getting the "personal" items going. I would *not* restore system-state from a backup as that includes system DLL's that may be compromised as well as any AD accounts that may have been added by the malware in question. Once you have a new system then you will have to create new user and computer accounts and then *very carefully* migrate their data from a backup. Restore only data files (.doc, .xls, etc) and use an exchange recovery group to restore and then attach mailboxes. It won't be easy, but it'll be relatively safe.

I have an installation of sbs 2003 and the last two days, explorer.exe can't
start.
Propable, I have a virus. The server don't have an antivirus protection.
Can somebody tell me how to solve this problem?

Thanks
