Assign the certificate to the companyweb site in IIS manager. (Websites.
-> Companyweb -> Properties -> Directory security -> Secure
communications -> Server Certificate -> Assign existing certificate on
port 444 chosing your public cert.
You should be able to access it from https://public.name:444/ but not
any link called http://companyweb as that will not resolve externally.

Thanks for the quick reply.
1 - Yes I have run CEICW.
2 - when typing https://server.domainname.com. it takes you to the
server's
main pages displaying one of the options to be "My Company's Internal Web
Site"
3 - when hovering over it, the status bar shows http://companyweb; when
clicked it goes to error page " Internet Explorer cannot display the
webpage"
I can access it internally fine.
Thanks,
Joe

Have you re-run the CEICW to allow it?
What error are you getting when you try to access it?
What URL are you using to access it?
