A secured DMZ for internet accessible servers is already set,
it was set for an old app-server no longer in service.
Great - you've got all you need. Assuming that you use SSL for the
remote customers, and assuming that you use SSL for your SBS
connections, you just need two IP so that you can direct customers to
the DMZ server and still have your SBS server.
Are you aware that remote users accessing a SBS 2003 database REQUIRE A
LICENSE per remote user?
I went thought this with MS for a medical application - since I believed
that the non-Windows authenticated users, which authenticate against a
password lookup in a database table, didn't require a SBS Win License,
but MS clearly stated that ANY connection to SBS requires a license for
users, even ones that don't authenticate. So, the Patient database for a
medical app would have required one license per possible PT that would
connect to review their records/appointments - even though the PT had a
user/password stored in the SQL database and never used any form of
Windows logon to connect.
