8045 is the latest IMF update so it's working (MS hasn't released one in a
while).

I had this happen a long while back and in the end I simply declined the
older update that was repeating in IMF and when the new one came a week or
so later it was all back to normal.

Problem is still there. IMF Updates dated 1 August 2008 and 28 August
2008 keep asking to be installed. I am sending the Application and System
Event Logs by separate email.
The other info you wanted is as follows:
(1) In the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Updates\ExchangeServer2003\SP3\KB907747,
the InstallerVersion is 6.1.0022.4(SRV03_QFE.031113-0918)
(2) In the path \Program Files\ExchSrvr\Bin\MSCFV2\ I have 2
sub-folders -- build #'s 6.5.8037.0 and 6.5.8045.0. The .dll files for
each have the asme version number as the respective build number, but the
version # of the .dat files for both is 6.5.6429.1246.
