Re: Windows logon use

So I can have concurrent connections using the same username and
configuration on several thin clients or PC's. This will be a VMware app that
only authenicates through windows.
So if I have the correct licensing then I can have my 40 users logging on
using the same or a couple of user accounts (as long as I am not over the 75
user limit).
Am I correct in understanding this?
And Windows SBS server won't have any issues with using the same profiles
and user accounts. I have a high priority project that will needs this.
Thanks alot for helping get a good grasp on this.

Hello Jim,.
Thank you for posting here.
According to your description, I understand that:
You have a concern about the 75 CALs limit on the SBS. You want to know
whether there is any issue with one user multi login.
If I have misunderstood the problem, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, Windows Small Business Server CAL are Per User or Per
Device. It does not depend on concurrent connections. If you are using Per
User license, a user can logon to multiple clients with only 1 Per User CAL
needed. It is all right to multi-login with a user account as long as the
user account in the SBS domain is less than the 75 limit. When you
configure the CAL as per user, it only controls the maximum user account.
