With 80 users how many user and device CALs do you have?

Hi,
have seen many posts of "issues" after Exchang SP. Microsoft also lists
things possibly needing fixing - especially related to Windows Mobile
Synching etc.
Have 80 Exchange users here and about 40 of them are using Windows Mobile
devices.
Just looking for a way to get advantages of Windows Search (needs Sp2) but
putting off the hours needed for checking/fixing Exchange to a time that
better suits.

Hi,
Yes you can install just SP2 for 2003 without exchange, but the bigger
question is why?
What are your reasons for postponing SP2 for exchange?
It should definitely be installed unless there is a very good reason not
to.
Regards
Matt

Hi,
have held back on SP2 on our SBS 2003 Premium full Sp1 till now - but
would
like to soon start using Windows Search on the server and this runs
only
under Sp2.
Question - is it ok to install just the SP2 for 2003 without first
installing Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2, as advised in best
practices.
Any experience on this?? Know issues?
Is it ok to perhaps install Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 at a
later
date after Sp2??
Appreciate any info
.
