I doubt the other Frank's answer is your problem since you are talking VPN and he is answering RWW. Error 721 is always GRE 47 error

I'm running a SBS 2003 R2 (fully patched) Standard behind a Netgear FVS328 Firewall..
I attempted to connect using the Server Connection Manager on my XP Pro SP3 Laptop (again, fully patched) and it wouldn't get past 'verifying the password'. I then tried setting up a manual VPN and got Error 721.
This is what I've tried so far:
1. Connected the Laptop using the manual VPN inside of the LAN - success.
2. Ran pptp from the laptop (outside of the LAN) to the server - success.
3. Re-ran the 'Configure Remote Access' Wizard.
4. Doubled checked my user account memberships (Administrators, Domain Adminis, Domain Users, Mobile Users, Remote Operators, Remote Web Workplace Users).
With my limited knowledge of VPN's I'm now stuck.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
