fine. It's almost as if the name "johnk" is reserved somewhere and
this is messing it up. I said this wa strange

When you look at ADUC for this user, and check his email address in
Properties, what is the default email address and is there one
listed for the other? Is the box ticked to apply the system
settings or un ticked? I'm thinking that this is the only user that was
created after you
installed the second recipient policy and perhaps it did not get
applied to this user.
Public folder maybe?

Negative. I multi-checked everything. I even deleted and
re-created the account thinking something went wrong during the
create process. I also made sure to do it through the Wizard.

Hi Richard:
About 90% of the errors of this sort that we see are typos. The
rest seem to be split between miss spellings and ebkc.
Any chance that one or the other of the above apply?

SBS 2003 R2 Standard
2 domains (domain1.com and domain2.com)
Everything configured for the primary domain1 and secondary
domain2 for receive and send of emails and has been tested with
several user accounts. e.g. Mary Jane as a primary
maryj@xxxxxxxxxxx and maryj@xxxxxxxxxxxx I can send emails to
both addresses via the internet and they are received by Mary
Jane. I then set up a new account for John Kite so he has emails of
johnk@xxxxxxxxxxx and johnk@xxxxxxxxxxx When I send to
johnk@xxxxxxxxxxx it goes through BUT when I send to
johnk@xxxxxxxxxxx I get an error message about not having
permission to receive. I can set up any name with the exception
of "johnk". This makes no sense. -Richard
