Disjoining SBS 2003 domain does not free up computer name?
Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry
I upgraded a workstation here at the office and before I took the old
one down I disjoined the domain. When I set the new one up I ran the
connectcomputer setup but I cannot select the computer name I just
disjoined.
The only way for me to do that was to delete the computer from ADUC
and re-add it.
Am I not doing something properly?
