Vista Unauthenticated network

Hi All,
Recently I've been getting a few vista PCs saying that their network connection is unauthenticated.
I have had this happen to notebook users that have been connecting to unsecured wireless networks, and then come back and connect to our network.
Now it's happened to a few PCs with only 1 network connection, that have never been connected to any other networks.
Last time the solution was to remove the PC from the domain, and rejoin. Is that still the best way?
How can I prevent this from happening again?
Is there a way to find all PCs on the network that are in the unauthenticated state so I can go and fix them?
.
