Internal DNS Issue

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi,

I am not sure what to do, we have a public IP address which points to our
internal web server shop.compnayname.com and this works fine from outside of
our network.

But we are unable to access it on our internal network, but if I do not use
the public IP name assigned but use the internal server name it resolves.

I know that I have to add something to DNS but not sure. Can anyone help?

Cheers

Andrew
